About The Drivers Briefing
We review cars the way drivers actually experience them. No manufacturer money, no PR spin, no favours.
TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT CARS
The Drivers Briefing was founded on a single principle: Australians deserve honest car reviews from people who live in this country and understand what our roads, climate, and lifestyle actually demand from a vehicle. We test cars hard, we form genuine opinions, and we tell you exactly what we think.
INDEPENDENCE
We pay for our own test vehicles or use manufacturer loans with zero editorial interference. We never accept payment for review outcomes.
AUSTRALIAN PERSPECTIVE
We test on Australian roads, in Australian conditions. What works in Germany or Japan might not work on a Queensland highway or a Victorian mountain road.
PLAIN ENGLISH
We write for real people making real purchase decisions. No jargon, no filler, no 5,000-word non-answers. We tell you what we think, clearly.
